40 days and 40 nights - Visiting Co. Cork

We took a weekend trip to Hilliard and Stephanie's in Co. Cork, and mom and dad stayed with Charlotte, who happens to date an Albertan (grin!).  We went to Cohb, it is the last port the Titannic stopped at... also the port where a 100+ labourers left to America way back when, to whom we are very grateful too.  We also visited the Blarney Castle.  I always said I would never ever kiss the Blarney stone, germs germs and more germs.  Well, once you are there and the rain is constantly washing it (right?!), you just have too!
We stayed Sat night in Nenagh, met some more wonderful friends.  Sunday was Union Sunday at Lowe's in Adare.  That was very special.

Such great pictures, Lori...it's always fun to catch up on your blog! I've just given your blog address to one of the friends here, Karen D, who is thinking about taking a trip to Ireland in June and I strongly encouraged her to do that! She's traveled quite a bit & has visited England, but not Ireland yet.
