We have arrived! It is absolutely lovely here, we found a house to live in, in Oranmore, Co. Galway. Tomorrow we should have internet at home so that I can spend HOURS :) updating my blog! jk. Starting tomorrow, the boys will go to preschool ("creche") 3 afternoons a week, they are more than ready for it, they need some structure now. It's a 7 minute walk from home, perfect!
In the mean time, please check out my dear friend Leaine's blog, she and her family met up with us in London, was so good to see her and catch up! And her children are just too cute. She has pictures up of our time together. Hopefully they'll come visit us here too!

YYC to LHR
It's hard to believe our time in Canada is almost over, and tonight we fly to London! We are hoping for an uneventful trip, I'm sure those sitting next to us will too! I can just see Madelynne getting her first tooth tonight... :)
Here's a recap of our stay in the "homeland".
Friday night to Sunday: Stayed at our amazing friends Bill and Donna. Got to go to Didsbury 1 convention. Was so nice to visit with Annette B, Sandy F, Edivaldo, Brett F, etc etc etc. Also caught up with many many friends. Was a very good convention.
Sunday night to Wednesday afternoon: Went to Pincher Creek and stayed with Papa and Bama. The countryside is GORGEOUS. Monday we went boating at Waterton Lakes, two very excited boys we had! Even if the rain poured on us! Tuesday we visited Granny in the "cottage" she now lives in. Dad took the boys out to Heritage Acres to see the train set etc, and then it wouldn't be a trip home without a..... POTLUCK at Beauvais! Madelynne got to meet many more relatives and lay on the charm!
Wednesday afternoon to Thursday night: We are at my sisters in Cayley, even tho it is COLD out, the kids have been constantly in the pool! My sister made brunch for us, including in BFF's Preya and Janelle and their family's. Thanks sis!
And now I catch up on the blog and get the suitcases packed and backpacks for the flight organized! The boys have not been on a plane this big, they should be quite impressed! In London we are catching up with another BF Leaine and her family, YAY! Then we head on to Ireland Sunday night.
Also on this Thursday, I have to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY RANETTA!!! We miss you and maybe just maybe you'll have your baby on your birthday :)

Canada goes green!
We made it to Kenya, Candida, Canada! The boys can finally say it right!
Crazy as it may seem, it feels like we are already in Ireland as it is so green here in Alberta!!
This post will be short as we need to get to Waterton Lake and on the boat. Yes, there are two excited boys! I will post more later. Here's a very sweet picture of Madelynne ready for Sunday of Didsbury 1 convention.

Any guesses?
We are now bringing 5 (not 4) suitcases and shipped a box yesterday to Ireland. The box was 26" squared and weighed 99.6 lbs. Any guesses how much that cost? :)

Conversation
As we were walking to the van, there was a trail of ants.
Mason: "Wow, that's a lot of ants."
Chase: "Looks like they're going to have a party!"
The two big cheeses!

Wednesday... getting so close to take off day!
Madelynne woke up with a hoarse throat :( and not feeling good. First time she's lost her voice a little. We had her monthly appointment with the Oncologist and chest x-rays, she's a picture of health. Grandma is with us again, and boy are we thankful for Grandma's help and love and help and love... :) After more errands, got some more packing in. Hopefully the suitcases are zipped up by Thursday night and just relaxing until the flight to YYC on Friday!

Tuesday fun
On Tuesday we had a lot of help and fun at the same time! Molly and kids came over to play and Molly held Madelynne while I tackled laundry and dishes! Then we had Andrea and kids and special treat Paula and Jesse over for lunch and play time and cuddles for Paula while again I was able to get more stuff done and packing. Thank-you Molly, Andrea and Paula! And Happy Birthday Paula (today!) and can't wait to meet baby boy when we come back! We love y'all!
Monday shopping
Thank-you Della for braving it and coming shopping with the kids and I! We had fun! Madelynne needed some warmer clothes for this trip, she's getting so big so fast! Here she is asleep surrounded by shopping bags, she's a good shopper!
Thanks again Della for your help. xoxo

Fun in the sun
The only way I can get the boys to play outside right now is to have the sprinkler ball on. Otherwise I hear the common words "It's tooooo hot!"
I will not miss this temperature in Ireland! I am so looking forward to spending A LOT of time outside!

Happy 10th Birthday Jayme!!!
We can't wait to celebrate again with you in less than a week! The boys are counting on it! (Probably especially the cake part!) You are a VERY SWEET cousin, we love you!

A Cute Hat
Heidi gave Madelynne this hat, it is ADORABLE and it was high time we did a little photo shoot! I really need to stop using my cell phone to take pictures, the quality just isn't there! But the cuteness definitely is there!
And this is her sweet puppy eyes photo!

In the beginning....
Yes, it's true... I am about to become a blogger! I have wanted to for a while, especially to document our children's lives, I'm horrible at this. We are about to embark on an exciting adventure, 3 months in Ireland as Ruben works there, so no time is better than the present to take the leap into blog world!
Bare with me as I learn the tricks, I hope it's not addictive!
